Spring
in Cashmere, Washington, in Jim Willems' orchard, brings a profusion
of fragrant cherry blossoms.
Jim's "family" of beautiful golden Haflingers enjoy the
frolic through meadows and fields. New foals struggle on their newly
discovered wobbly legs. This Austrian breed of horses are renown for
their wonderful nature. They are calm, friendly and easy to train.
Jim
Willems' orchard situated a mere four miles from the rustic town of
Cashmere and ten miles from Leavenworth, known as the "Bavarian
Village" of the Pacific Northwest, is nestled in a valley
beneath the Cascade Mountain Range.
